Inspired by the Belgian Witbier (Bière Blanche) style of beer. A wonderful light and refreshing beer brewed with a blend of Wheat and Pilsner malt together with a late boil addition of bitter orange peel and coriander spice to add a zesty spicy taste. Nice and refreshing on a warm day. 5.5% ABV and 19 IBUs.
The story behind the name: The Picnic Train was a popular summer train service between 1930 – 50’s from Moncton to Pointe-du-Chêne wharf and Parlee Beach, for summer coastal fun activities.
